Privacy Policy
Sesto, LLC · Effective September 21, 2026
Sesto helps you keep your home in good order. To do that well, it needs to know some things about you and your home. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do (and don't do) with it. It applies to the Sesto mobile app, the Sesto pro portal (pro.getsesto.com), and getsesto.com — all operated by Sesto, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company at 66 Salem End Lane, Framingham, MA 01702.
The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we share it only with the service providers that run the product and the people you choose to share your home with, and we do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and sign-in credentials. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email from them (or Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide your email).
- Home information. The details you give Sesto about your home: its address, year built, move-in date, and the systems and equipment you track — including details like brand, model, serial number, installation date, and warranty dates if you add them.
- Activity in the app. The maintenance tasks you complete, reschedule, skip, or create; the pros you save; your home health score history; and homes or households you create or join.
- Device and usage information. Basic technical data such as device type, app version, and diagnostic logs that help us keep the app working, plus a push notification token if you enable notifications.
- Pro accounts. If you register a business on the pro portal, we collect your business name, trade, service area, contact details, and the information you submit for verification.
Sesto does not ask for, and you should not enter, government ID numbers or payment card details in the app today. If we introduce paid features, payments will be processed by Apple or by Stripe, and this policy will be updated first.
How we use it
- To run your home's plan. Your home's details drive the seasonal maintenance schedule, the health score, equipment lifespan outlooks, and the guidance in each task.
- Weather features. We use your home's address (as an approximate location) to show local weather, weather-aware scheduling suggestions, and National Weather Service alerts relevant to your area.
- The pro directory. Your home's town determines which local pros you see. If you call or contact a pro, you're sharing your information with them directly.
- Household sharing. If you invite someone to your household, they can see and manage that home's data — its tasks, equipment, score, and saved pros. That's the point of sharing; don't invite people you don't want seeing it.
- Notifications. If you enable push notifications, we send task reminders, weather alerts, and product updates. You can turn these off in your device settings at any time.
- Text messages. Some features — like invitations or pro-related communications — may send SMS messages through Twilio, our messaging provider. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of any recurring messages.
- Keeping the lights on. Diagnostics and usage data help us find bugs, improve features, and keep accounts secure.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that run Sesto. Our infrastructure and tooling includes Supabase (database and authentication), Amazon Web Services (backend), Expo (app delivery and push notifications), Cloudflare (websites), Twilio (SMS), and Apple and Google (sign-in and notifications). They process data on our behalf under their own security obligations.
- Your household. Members of a household you share see that home's data, as described above.
- Pros you contact. When you call, message, or book a pro, you share your information with that business directly. Pros are independent businesses, not part of Sesto, LLC.
- Legal requirements. If the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sesto or others.
- A future business transfer. If Sesto, LLC is ever acquired or merged, your information may transfer with the business; this policy (or a successor you're notified about) would continue to apply.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. Your maintenance history is part of the product — it's what your score and insights are built on — so it stays until you delete it or delete your account.
Deleting your data
You can delete tasks, equipment, pros, and homes in the app. To delete your account and its data entirely, use the account deletion option in the app or email hello@getsesto.com from your account email. We'll delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we're required to keep limited records (for example, for legal or security reasons).
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit, stored with access controls, and protected by row-level security in our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your home's information the way we'd want ours treated.
Children
Sesto is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. Whatever your state, we honor reasonable requests: email hello@getsesto.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
