These terms are an agreement between you and Sesto, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company at 66 Salem End Lane, Framingham, MA 01702 ("Sesto," "we," "us"). They cover the Sesto mobile app, the Sesto pro portal (pro.getsesto.com), and getsesto.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of this agreement.
Sesto is a home maintenance companion. It builds a seasonal maintenance plan for your home, tracks your equipment, scores your home's upkeep, watches the weather, and helps you find and keep track of home service professionals.
Sesto is not a contractor, an inspector, an insurer, or a professional advisor. The guidance in the app — task instructions, schedules, scores, lifespan estimates, replacement cost ranges, savings estimates, and weather information — is general information to help you stay organized. It is not professional advice about your specific home, and it is not a guarantee of any outcome. Homes differ; always follow manufacturer instructions, local codes, and common sense, and bring in a qualified professional for anything dangerous, complex, or uncertain. Never attempt work involving gas, main electrical service, structural elements, or roofs without proper qualifications.
You can invite others to share a home. Members of a shared household can view and manage that home's data — tasks, equipment, score, and saved pros. Only invite people you trust with that access. The account that owns a home controls its membership.
The pro directory lists independent local businesses. This part matters, so plainly:
The information you add — custom tasks, equipment details, notes, home data — is yours. You give us the license we need to store, process, and display it in order to run the Service (including showing it to your household members). Don't add content that's unlawful or that you don't have the right to share.
Sesto is currently free to use. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future; if we do, pricing will be clearly presented before you're charged, payments will be processed by Apple or by our payment processor (Stripe), and these terms will be updated. We won't convert a free feature you rely on into a surprise charge.
Don't misuse the Service: no unauthorized access attempts, scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with other users, misrepresenting a business on the pro portal, or using the Service to send spam. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service.
The Service — its software, design, name, and content we created — belongs to Sesto, LLC and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for managing homes you own or help care for. Don't copy, resell, or build a competing dataset from it.
With your permission, we send push notifications (task reminders, weather alerts, product updates) and, for some features, SMS messages via our messaging provider. Message and data rates may apply. You can disable push in your device settings and opt out of recurring SMS by replying STOP.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that scores or estimates are accurate for your particular home, or that weather information (which comes from third-party sources, including the National Weather Service) is complete or timely. Weather alerts in Sesto are a convenience — never rely on them as your sole source of emergency information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sesto, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or property value, arising from your use of the Service — including damage to your home, equipment, or property connected with maintenance you performed or deferred, or work performed by any professional you found through the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
If your use of the Service, your content, or your dealings with a pro cause a third party to bring a claim against Sesto, LLC, you agree to indemnify us for the resulting losses and reasonable legal costs, except to the extent we caused them.
You can stop using Sesto and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your account for violations of these terms, legal reasons, or discontinuation of the product; if we discontinue the Service, we'll give reasonable notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content license for past operation, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. For meaningful changes, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction.
